Mora

Image 1

The design of this villa has largely been shaped by ad hoc responses to the unique qualities of the site —most notably, an old pear tree—and to historical typologies that in similar ways express a connection to the landscape.

The recessed facade of the larger volume of the project reinterprets the Swedish vernacular Högloftsstuga, emphasizing the axis to the outdoor space already defined by the pear tree.

Mora pt 1 realised

Once a workshop and storage space, this space has been fully transformed into a year-round cabin.

Future plans include connecting it to the larger volume, changing its function to an atelier and guesthouse.

As both architect and builder, all work has been carried out independently.

Casa Lama

Transformation of an old stable into an insulated, social space for dinners and workshops. The exterior will remain mostly unchanged, except for new glass openings in the facade facing the garden and vineyard.

Phantom Extension

Image 1

A long-lost extension to Lillenhofska palatset in Södermalm, Stockholm. Brought back as a shadow of its lost shape with a program inside connecting it to the square of today that surrounds it.

I am an architect with a focus on vernacular design, specializing in small-scale projects like villas, summer houses and kitchen designs.

I believe that good architecture can be achieved through careful solutions in design, function and materiality, also within relatively modest budgets.

I offer initial sketches, plans and visualization for building permits (bygglov) as well as detailed budgeting and construction documentation (bygghandlingar) for a reliable project execution.
